Elon Musk Turned His Tweet Into An NFT Token

Elon Musk, the CEO of the massive e-car manufacturer Tesla, bought Twitter and then walked-in into the NFT industry with a fresh tweet. A collector’s item, according to OpenSea, is “The Bird Is Freed.” The first tweet sent by Twitter’s new CEO following the media company’s acquisition was made available as a collectible by non-playable token market behemoth OpenSea. The value of the tweet, “Birds let loose,” is 25 ETH.

The consequences of the purchase

A single unit has been sold till today. Elon acquired control of the well-known media outlet after concluding a forty-four billion purchase of Twitter. The top executives of the company were all subsequently fired by him. He gains total authority over Twitter’s operations by default.

Elon was the one who actually posted the now-famous “bird released” tweet. The fact that he now owns the business was declared. The Twitter takeover, however, has additional causes. These include getting rid of rogue bots and creating algorithms to filter content before it is published.

The Doge coin and Elon Musk

Elon has also influenced the crypto-market a lot in the past several years. Dogecoin, for example, has gained from Elon Musk’s Twitter about Dogecoin. It was the first meme-coin to enter the cryptocurrency market, since it was derived from a Dog meme in 2013. Elon has always been a supporter of digital assets. Some even claim that Elon and crypto work best together. That’s because he gains from each positive post made about DOGE.

For instance, the token exploded in April following Elon’s acquisition of Twitter and initial offer to accept Dogecoin as a form of payment for using the platform. At the same time, Dogecoin has increased by 35 percent over the past 5 days and by 10 percent over the past 24 hours. Consequently, as Elon attempted to reject the offer, the asset fell.

But Musk and Twitter finally reached an agreement on a takeover after months of conflict. However, it is still unknown why Elon favors Dogecoin. Over the years, Musk has consistently supported the currency, even including it in Tesla’s payment options. He also tweeted about Dogecoin’s upcoming conversion to fiat currency.
